Endless Summer 5K

This night 5K is aimed at celebrating our running/walking community of friends even when it seems our crazy summer heat will never end.

Summer sun lets us slow down or change our pace. We may visit different places, change our routine, and add friends. Summer may also signal major changes – new locations, new schools, new jobs. What better way to embrace the everyday – and approaching adventures – then getting together with our running/walking community for a Summer Evening 5K?

Your Endless Summer hostess and local running legend, Janet, is celebrating retirement after a career of 35 years. Come lace up your ‘kicks’ for this Have a good time - Endless Summer 5K!

This event is to celebrate community and summer.

Profits from the event will be given to St Mary’s Food Bank.

What You Get

  • Custom Series Medal with additions for each series event you complete

  • Custom Event Dri-Fit Tech T-shirt, Racerback Tank Top, or Sleeveless Shirt

  • Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups (excluding Virtual Runners) for the following:

    • 8 & Under, 9-10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over

  • Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos provided by StartLine Racing on their Website

Course Maps

 

Race Day Information

  • Wheelchair, stroller, and leashed pet friendly event.

    • All wheelchairs, stollers, and leashed pets must start at the back of the start line coral.

      • All participants are chipped time, so your time will not be affected by starting at the back of the coral.  Your  time will not start until you cross the start line.

  • The course will take you along dedicated running trails.  Please note - this is an open use trail system and does not close for our event.

  • Due to the common start/finish line there will be no bag check for this event.

  • Aug. 22nd 3:00PM - Packet Pickup at Road Runner Sports Tempe from 3:00 - 6:00pm

  • Aug. 23rd 6:00PM - Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-up Opens

  • Aug. 23rd 7:00PM - Race Start

  • Aug. 23rd 8:00PM - Awards Ceremony
